Pinned note reading “Sneak Peek – Tester Appreciation!” on a corkboard with white flowers

We’re kicking off our blog series with a special Pattern Tester Appreciation post while we wait on a few final permissions from customers whose beautiful creations we hope to feature next. If you’ve made something with a Little Green Feather pattern, we’d love to see it!

Submit your project for consideration — and if selected, you might be featured in this blog. Our goal is to highlight community creations every Tuesday, so stay tuned for fresh inspiration each week!

Who else loves a sneak peek of upcoming crochet designs? (🙋‍♀️ I know I do!) Thanks to my amazing pattern tester team, I'm thrilled to give you a special preview of a brand new overlay mosaic crochet pattern launching on May 23, 2025.

🌸 A Huge Shoutout to the Tester Team 🎉

Over the years of designing, one of the things I'm most grateful for is my dedicated tester team. I truly couldn't ask for a more talented, thoughtful, and color-savvy group of creatives. They work hard behind the scenes to make sure each crochet pattern not only looks stunning, but feels effortless to follow.

"Every design you see from Little Green Feather has our testers' hearts in it too."

With that being said, I am beyond excited to share a sneak peek of this pattern with you. It's no secret that I love a good floral design. 9 times out of 10, when I'm stuck in a creative rut and just want to draw for fun, I draw flowers. I had a lot of fun playing with the symmetry in this design.

This one is going to be a perfect pattern if you want something really striking for the back of your sofa or as an accent on your bed. It's stunning in just two colors, but would also be amazing in a gradient cake. I can't wait to see what everyone creates with this pattern once it's released.

Here are 3 of my testers' versions of this pattern, which will be called Nordic Bloom. As you can see, the colors you choose totally change the mood of the blanket. You can make it fun and playful, elegant and understated, or a modern classic with a pop of color.

✨ Paula Stokes

Paula has chosen to create her project in a beautiful teal and cream, which is set off perfectly by her lovely garden.

✨ Tracey May Row

Tracey has chosen to use a moody slate grey with soft blush, creating a striking bold effect that looks perfect in any room and any season.

✨ Mallory Davis

Mallory has chosen a playful blue and pink combination in springtime tones, ensuring a bold pop of color anywhere she chooses to display her blanket.

We’re so excited to finally share this design with you — and we can’t wait to see the unique color combos and creative touches you’ll bring to it. Nordic Bloom has been such a joy to create, and our amazing tester team truly brought it to life.
