Welcome back!

Time for another Customer Appreciation Day on the blog--one of my favorite traditions! I thought it'd be the perfect time to spotlight some amazing works-in-progress from our relaxed, sun-soaked Summer Crochet-Along (CAL). I love seeing how creative everyone is getting with their color choices and yarn pairings!

Let's dive in!

✨ Melanie Olson

First off, Melanie Olson decided early on that she wanted a nature theme for her summer blanket, so she has been combining patterns from Cottagecore as well as the CAL to make this gorgeous blanket.

Cottagecore combined with Summer CAL featuring snails, suns, bees, waves, and strawberries.

✨Nicole Wolf

Next up, Nicole Wolf has been playing with tapestry mosaic to create an adorable, vibrant celebration of summer that definitely makes me want to sit in the sun with a delicious ice cream treat!

✨ Jennifer Jensen

Then we have this adorable purse from Jennifer Jensen, who found some cute vintage purse handles and used the strawberry pattern from the CAL to create a bag she can use to carry her sunscreen or make a visit to the farmer’s market.

Strawberry purse.

✨ Belinda Reynolds

Last but surely not least, Belinda Reynolds is continuing her sweet blanket with the popsicles option from the Ice Cream Dream packet. Her blanket is a sweet treat indeed!!

Summer 2025 CAL

It’s not too late! The CAL is totally free, and joining is simple:

👉 Head to www.littlegreenfeather.com/join to sign up for our mailing list. You’ll receive a Ravelry code to download the full pattern eBook—completely free.

Don’t forget: many of my smaller repeating patterns—including Cottagecore, the Bee Bundle, and all the small forest animals—can be seamlessly incorporated into your CAL project. I design with modularity in mind, so you can mix and match across themes. Let your creativity run wild!

Thanks again to everyone stitching along with us. Seeing your creations brings me so much joy—and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

And speaking of new things... mark your calendars for next Friday's pattern release: Hidden Hearts!

You might think with all this CAL hubbub we haven’t been working on anything else over at Little Green Feather crochet, but we actually have something REALLY exciting coming 8 August 2025!

A new gorgeous blanket called Hidden Hearts—perfect for a wedding gift that will be treasured for years to come! Here are a few photos from a small selection of my testers on this one—wait until next Friday to see them all!

Huge thanks to Tara Klassen, Mallory Davis, Amanda Shahan-Shields, Paula Stokes, and Karen Goldfinch for permitting me to use their photos in this specific blog post. It was so hard to choose which ones to feature here, because my tester team has done such a beautiful job, and I absolutely cannot wait to show them all off to you!!
