Forest Frog is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern hand drawn by me. Created by using a reference photo taken by well known wildlife photographer Lessy Sebastian, I added my own touch of whimsy. You can almost imagine yourself deep in the woods, enchanted by fireflies.

This is a larger blanket which is perfect for sharing with a loved one.

The blanket is 200 stitches wide by 251 rows high and measures approximately 57” by 72” (145cm by 183cm) in worsted weight yarn.

It Includes split charts marked with a darker line every 10 stitches, as well as a nice large one page chart for Knit Companion. It also includes written instructions for both left and right hand crocheters.

Note--This pattern starts with the lighter yarn color that you wish to use
This pattern does not teach you how to do mosaic crochet. It does not teach you to switch colors within a row (an understanding of how to switch colors within a row is not necessary to complete this pattern, however a link to a reference video is included should you choose to do so).
