This little lily baby blanket or wallhanging pattern was created with a very special inspiration in mind — one of my tester’s grandchildren. It’s meant to feel soft, playful, and a bit like something you might spot growing in a sunny corner of a storybook garden. I hope it brings a smile, a sense of wonder, and maybe even becomes part of someone’s own small, meaningful memories.
The rectangular version is 98 stitches wide by 127 rows high and measures approximately 28” by 36” (71 cm by 92 cm) in worsted weight yarn.
You will need appx. 674 yards (616 meters) yarn in color A (lightest color) and 543 yards (497 meters) in color B (darkest color) not including border to complete this version.
The square version is 98 stitches wide by 109 rows high and measures approximately 28” by 31” (71 cm by 79 cm) in worsted weight yarn.
You will need appx. 586 yards (536 meters) yarn in color A (lightest color) and 455 yards (416 meters) in color B (darkest color) not including border to complete this pattern.
It Includes split charts marked with a darker line every 10 stitches, as well as a nice large one-page chart for Knit Companion. It also includes written instructions which are suitable for both left and right-handed crocheters. This pattern also includes a colored version of the written instructions for right and left-handed crocheters.
Note--This pattern starts with the lighter yarn color that you wish to use
This pattern does not teach you how to do mosaic crochet. It does not teach you to switch colors within a row (an understanding of how to switch colors within a row is not necessary to complete this pattern, however a link to a reference video is included should you choose to do so).
I am currently making this pattern. I was so excited to see a mosaic crochet pattern of my favorite flower!! 🥰 excited to see how it looks when finished! Super easy to read and grateful for the colored graphs and the written pattern it comes with!
